Welcome to Mosman Beauty Studio.
I’ve been in the Beauty Therapy industry for over 30 years, wow, what a lot of changes.
Raised on a farm, I couldn’t get to the city quick enough to pursue a career in making myself and others feel fabulous and look glamorous to earn some well deserved confidence. I was determined to learn how to achieve that.
A good start was attending nearly all the major brands trainings in skincare and make-up, followed by my official beauty therapy qualifications in Sydney from a French therapist, named Magie Ruby. This was a prerequisite to attend training in Paris with Payot. At this point I was feeling pretty fabulous, I was heading to the source of glamour and embarking on training that was a perfect fit to achieve the outcomes I was searching for, all in the name of Beauty.
Nadine Payot was a doctor and her philosophy being Beauty is from within. It’s a holistic approach and touches on the fact that beauty treatments are therapy and with that have therapeutic benefits for our well being and self esteem.
While on a roll of inspiration, I learnt massage techniques from a renowned acupuncturist to gain a greater knowledge of pressure points, meridians and chakras.
At MBS our team have a passion and a drive to keep educating ourselves on the very latest techniques from how to achieve glowing, healthy, well maintained skin, the latest make-up techniques, in Vogue nail polishes and touch therapies to allow reconnection.
One of our skin care houses describes MBS as a hidden gem, I really like that.
